Newcastle!!

Well here we are in newcastle! We ahd to do a runner on our flat but we were all surare with the landlord so its ok. Here you can see us at Mereweather beach with is a 2 minute walk from where we are staying. We are very lucky that steve and jackie have kindly put us uo and they have been great really welcomming. now we feel like we are in australia!

Comet!

Well here are the pics that we took when we were watching the comet. We watched the sunset and it was beautiful but couldnt really catch it on camera and nor could we catch the comet but we did see it look like it was heading straight for you all!

We wish we had bonocualrs on us as aparently you could see it really clearly with them but ohh well you still saw it for about an hour then it went behind the clouds but you could supposdly see it for 3 days. dunno where its going though!!

Bridge walk

Well tonight if you looked at the sky we were told that you would be able to see a comet! So sam and alex went to the harbour bridge we wanted to take a walk along the bridge anyway and see the sun set so we tied it all in together. we didnt go all the way across the bridge as couldnt be bothered but we did walk uo quite far and the view was great but it was hard to see through the fencing. obviously the view would be amaxing and clear if you actually climbed it but we couldnt afford it, but we got some good pics any way.

Walk along the harbour

Not much to do tonight and sam and Tracey were bored so took a walk along the harbour alex was too tried from work to come. As you can see it was beautilful and it aloud us took take some real good pics of the harbour at night!

Random night: star bar

Now we are all pretty much drunk.
well actually sam and alex are that drunk as we had only had about 2 drinks each.

Sam has a funny stor about tonite:

well these affro carribean guys were break dancing and one of them did the worm. So i said to lisa i can do that so she egged me on to do it so i did! then all the guys were going ohh she beat you she beat you! and then i went up to the bar wiv lisa and the guy that had done the worm before me came up to me and said "you dont beat a nigger from behind" (he was just messing) and he wanted a rematch but i didnt giv him one!! alex was shocked!

It was a really good night and we both had a real good laugh!

Random night out!

Everyone went out tonite as it was Jo and Rachels last nite in sydney, who are the two girls in the pic to the right (we met them in new zealand).

It wasnt going to be a big night but it turned out to be a great night!

We all started off in cargo bar (i think thats waht it was called). We had a few there and then headed of to star bar.

1st January 2007!!

Well happy new year everyone. Hope you all had as much fun as we all did. We are going to try and find a club now so Goodnight!!!

HoooRayyyy!!!! BANG!!! Well we finally made it to what we came to see here in sydney and it was definatly worth it! It turns out you actually get a clearer picture of the fireworks when your drunk! Alex took these photos and they came out really well! The videos he took are amazing too they are at home if anyone wants to see them.

New Years Eve! Getting Hammered Now!

Well here we are after watching the 9 'o' clock fireworks. Everyone is starting to get a little drunk now as we have all been slowly drinking since 1 'o'clock! As you can see Ali and John decide they would come out and so Lisa turned to the bottle!! (just kidding guys!)

We couldnt get very clear pictures of the bridge but these pictures show the red hanger which no one knew what it stood for. I found out a few days later and apparently the brigde is called the hanger! So there you go learnt something new! Also you can see the diamond which resembled the 75th year anniversary of the brigde!

New Years Eve: 9 'o' clock fireworks!

Here you can see the kids fireworks shown at 9 '0' clock. These were preety amazing and as you can see they got us all very excited and ready for midnight to come round!

It was very hard to get a good picture of the fireworks coz unless you had a tri pod they came out blury. These are our best ones though. After these fireworks it got very empty as most of the familys left which was very good!
